How to Prepare
Use 1–2 teaspoons of tea per 8 ounces of water.
Oolong tea is best brewed with hot water around 180°F to 200°F. Steep for 3–4 minutes, depending on your preferred strength.
For a stronger cup, use more tea rather than steeping longer. This helps preserve the smooth flavor and reduces the chance of bitterness.
Infusion Tip
Loose leaf oolong tea should have room to unfurl as it steeps. A wide infuser, cup strainer, or teapot strainer is preferred over a small tea ball. Allowing the leaves to open fully helps release the tea’s flavor and aroma.
Storage
