FLORIS NATURALS 100% NATURAL HORSE FLY & TICK SPRAY

Can be used on most farm animals, including Alpacas, Lamas, Pigs etc…

This KIT makes 1 Gallon of FLY SPRAY. Easy to mix.

You will receive a bottle with the mixture, a bottle with the emulsifying liquid, and an empty spray bottle to store your mixture.

OVERVIEW

Our Horse Fly & Tick Spray is a safe and very effective blend of herbs and essential oils (none of them harmful to farm animals). Our blend works efficiently against stable flies, bot flies, horse flies, deer flies, ticks, mosquitoes, fleas, gnats, midges (No-See-Ums), and lice.  It is also an anti-fungal spray which will help relieve itching due to these bugs.

This kit is a highly concentrated mix of essential oils (none of which are banned of deemed unsafe) and an emulsifying liquid. This mixture will make 1 gallon of spray that clears flies, fleas, ticks, mites, midges ( No-See-Ums), and other biting insects. You can also spray it in the stables or on bedding to get rid of eggs and other bugs.

DIRECTIONS

Fill a jug with 1 gallon of lukewarm water and mix the oils which are supplied in the 4oz glass bottle as well as the emulsifying liquid. Shake gently to mix well.
Remember to shake well before each use. Spray the animal thoroughly so as to wet the fur down to the skin. It is often easier to pet their hair backwards to make sure the spray reaches the skin. Make sure to spray or wipe well on legs and underbelly. When applying to the face and ears, spray onto a soft cloth or brush and apply carefully (never in mouth or eyes). No need to dry it off.
You can also spray their bedding (or stables).

CONTAINS

Cedarwood oil: In the same way it helps heal wounds and reduce inflammation, cedarwood essential oil works great for treating itchy insect bites. It is also an insect repellent that can help stop those pesky insects from biting your pet in the first place. It has been used for centuries. The fact that we still know about this particular purpose speaks highly of its efficacy.

Citronella oil: This is one of the most commonly used properties of citronella essential oil, as it kills and keeps away insects. It has been found particularly effective on a species of mosquito, called Aedes aegypti whose bite causes the dreaded yellow fever. This is also effective on lice, body and head louse, and fleas.

Cinnamon oil: Used in aromatherapy to drive away mosquitoes.

Lemongrass oil:  It is also an effective insect repellent. It can repel various insects such as ants and mosquitoes. Lemongrass is a natural repellent because it has a high geraniol and citral content.

Peppermint Oil: Peppermint essential oil is a natural deterrent against mosquitoes and flying insects, it effectively repels mosquitoes, gnats and horseflies. Bugs may not like peppermint oil, but kids and adults usually enjoy its fresh, energizing scent. Plus it creates a cooling sensation that’s perfect for hot summer days.

  1. Ruth Badger Z.

I go through so much spray. We have three horses and it gets expensive!
I love that you guys make this concentrate. Sometimes I make 2 gallons out of it when the flies aren’t too bad. I’ve also used it on our goats, and it works really well.
We don’t like usingls on any of our animals so this is an excellent alternative.
