BULGARIAN ROSE diluted with Jojoba Oil 5%
Botanical Name:Â Rosa damascene
Plant Part:Â Flowers
Extraction Method:Â Solvent Extraction
Description: The rose is perhaps the world’s best known flower, stunning and exotic in both visual appearance and fragrance.
Color:Â Golden to amber
Common Uses:Â Rose Bulgarian Absolute is a very common oil in perfumery and aromatics industries. Aromatherapists and holistic practitioners use it in their practices. A few drops can be used in creams or undiluted to make a product even more emollient and fragrant.
Consistency:Â Viscous
Note:Â Middle
Strength of Aroma:Â Strong
Blends well with: Rose generally blends well with all oils, though it works really well with Bergamot, Chamomile German, Chamomile Roman, Clary Sage, Geranium, Melissa, Rosewood, Sandalwood, and Ylang–ylang.
Aromatic Scent: Rose Bulgarian Absolute has a very complex, sweet floral scent. Its reputation of being a essential ingredient in perfumes is well deserved.
History:Â Bulgaria has over a 300 year tradition in essential rose oil distillation. Approximately 4000 kilograms of petals are required to produce 1 kilogram of pure rose oil. Its exotic nature and value were appreciated in ancient times by the Greeks, Chinese, Indians, Persians and Romans.
Cautions:Â It is important to note that all absolutes are extremely concentrated by nature. They should not be evaluated in this state unless you are accustomed to the undiluted fragrance. For those trying Absolutes for the first time, we strongly recommend they be evaluated in dilution. Otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance – particularly the rare and exotic notes – becomes lost.
