AROMATHERAPY BRACELET
LavaStone Jewelry is such a fun way to diffuse your oils on the go. We hand make our jewelry to ensure the best possible quality. Try one and we promise you will be hooked!
How to: Lay your bracelet on a paper towel and place a small amount of essential oil on the lava beads (the porous beads). Wait 3-4 minutes and slide it on. Do not try to rub it in with your fingers as essential oils are very strong and you may inadvertently touch your face with your hands afterwards.
Remember, because essential oils are very concentrated, it’s best to avoid applying them directly to skin undiluted.
Turquoise
Turquoise is not only a stone for finding wholeness and truth; it is also an aid in the communication and manifestation of those qualities. Turquoise represents the wisdom that comes from all of life’s experiences. It reminds us that wholeness can only come when we are willing to embrace the totality of who we are and what we have learned. Turquoise is a stone of self forgiveness, self acceptance and the release of useless regrets.
Turquoise is a 16th century French name “pierre turquoise” meaning Turkish stone, because it was bought in the Turkish bazaars on the trade route from Iran, where it was mined, to Europe. Turquoise has been revered by many different cultures throughout history including, the Egyptians, Persians, Aztecs, Native North and South Americans, Tibetans and Chinese as long ago as 5,000 BC. It has been regarded as a power stone bringing protection from accidents and good fortune. Native Americans believed it to connect them with the great spirit of the sky, helping their minds to become one with the Universe and its infinite possibilities.
Symbolism of the Elephant
An ancient spirit that has worked alongside mankind for thousands of years elephant symbolism is deeply rooted in our history. These creatures are known for their intelligence, strength and loyalty. These creatures are not only mighty in stature but in spirit. They embody a strong connection with the heavens and celestial power. As a spirit animal they call us to live a life of responsibility, power, memory and loyalty.
Elephant society is female dominated, what is otherwise known as a matriarchy. Each herd is lead by an elder female who is at once the older sister, the eldest aunt, the mother, and the grandmother. She travels with her sisters and all of their offspring. There is a deep sense of community, love, leadership, and loyalty.
