Product Abstract: Clary Sage is a short biennial or perennial herb that grows up to 1 meter in height (approximately 3 feet).

JASMINE diluted with Jojoba Oil 5%

Botanical Name: Jasminum Grandiflorum

Plant Part: Flowers

Extraction Method: Solvent Extraction

Description: Jasmine Grandiflorum is a beautiful plant and its flowers bloom in the early dawn unlike Jasmine Sambac, which blooms in the evening.

Color: Light reddish brown liquid.

Common Uses: Jasmine is always in high demand for it exquisitely fragrant properties. It is a sensual blossom whose fragrance profile figures prominently lending top notes to many of the world’s best perfumes. Because this is diluted in Jojoba Oil, it can be used as a simple or blended with other oils to make a purely natural perfume.

Consistency: Medium

Note: Middle

Strength of Aroma: Strong

Blends well with: Jasmine Absolutes generally work well with other aromatic oils. Its top note helps to blend and round out scents, and works particularly well with fragrant woods like Sandalwood, and other florals like Ylang Ylang.

Aromatic Scent: Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute has a smooth, extremely intense floral smell that is both sweet and lingering.

History: Since ancient times, Jasmine has been referred to as the King of oils (Rose is the Queen). Apparently this is because Jasmine is the most masculine of all the floral oils. It is also interesting to note that it takes 8,000 carefully hand-picked blossoms to produce 1 gram (about 1 ml.) of Jasmine Absolute.

Cautions: It is important to note that all absolutes are extremely concentrated by nature. They should not be evaluated in this state unless you are accustomed to the undiluted fragrance. For those trying Absolutes for the first time, we strongly recommend they be evaluated in dilution. Otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance – particularly the rare and exotic notes – becomes lost.

BULGARIAN ROSE diluted with Jojoba Oil 5%

Botanical Name: Rosa damascene

Plant Part: Flowers

Extraction Method: Solvent Extraction

Description: The rose is perhaps the world’s best known flower, stunning and exotic in both visual appearance and fragrance.

Color: Golden to amber

Common Uses: Rose Bulgarian Absolute is a very common oil in perfumery and aromatics industries. Aromatherapists and holistic practitioners use it in their practices. A few drops can be used in creams or undiluted to make a product even more emollient and fragrant.

Consistency: Viscous

Note: Middle

Strength of Aroma: Strong

Blends well with: Rose generally blends well with all oils, though it works really well with Bergamot, Chamomile German, Chamomile Roman, Clary Sage, Geranium, Melissa, Rosewood, Sandalwood, and Ylang–ylang.

Aromatic Scent: Rose Bulgarian Absolute has a very complex, sweet floral scent. Its reputation of being a essential ingredient in perfumes is well deserved.

History: Bulgaria has over a 300 year tradition in essential rose oil distillation. Approximately 4000 kilograms of petals are required to produce 1 kilogram of pure rose oil. Its exotic nature and value were appreciated in ancient times by the Greeks, Chinese, Indians, Persians and Romans.

Cautions: It is important to note that all absolutes are extremely concentrated by nature. They should not be evaluated in this state unless you are accustomed to the undiluted fragrance. For those trying Absolutes for the first time, we strongly recommend they be evaluated in dilution.

NEROLI diluted with Jojoba Oil 5%

Neroli is excellent for when you need a break from the world and to feel utterly relaxed. This delightful and vibrant floral essential oil comes from orange blossoms found in Egypt. It is one of the most comforting and effective essential oils when dealing with grief, nervous tension, or exhaustion.

Neroli is often used in skincare products to promote a healthy complexion. Adding Neroli to a lotion or carrier oil can help reduce the appearance of scarring, wrinkles and blemishes, all while minimizing the look of pores and supporting new cell growth.

Botanical Name: Citrus aurantium amara

Plant Part: Flowers

Extraction Method: Steam Distilled

Description: Neroli Essential Oil is derived from the blossoms of either the sweet orange tree or the bitter orange tree. Our variety comes from the bitter orange tree which is viewed within the aromatherapy world as being of higher therapeutic quality.

Color: Dark greenish yellow liquid.

Common Uses: Any type of skin can benefit from this oil, although it is particularly appreciated in creams for dry, irritated or sensitive skin. It is also used in toners and minimizes the appearance of pores. It is one of the most popular floral essences use in fine perfumery, a few drops of which will make any unscented cream more sophisticated and elegant.

Consistency: Medium

Note: Middle

Strength of Aroma: Strong

Blends well with: Lavender, Lemon, Clary Sage, Myrrh and spice oils such as Nutmeg, Cinnamon Bark and Clove Bud.

Aromatic Scent: Neroli Essential Oil has a sweet, floral citrus aroma. Many aromatherapists refer to Neroli as an exotic and exquisite essential oil.

History: Though Bitter Orange Essential Oil from the peel of the fruit has been around for centuries, Neroli Essential Oil, which was distilled from the blossoms, wasn’t discovered until the seventeenth century. It was named after Anna Maria de la Tremoille, princess of Nerola. The oil’s properties were extremely valued by the people of Venice whose reputation was enhanced by Neroli’s perfume industry.

Cautions: This oil is non-toxic and non-sensitizing. Avoid use during pregnancy.
